The matching set, among the biggest trends from winter, is carrying over into spring/summer. It has never been cooler to be matchy-matchy. This season will see pencil skirts with cute pants and matching crops and top sets. Although there are still a few printed sets floating around, we are mostly seeing brightly colored co-ords emerge when the warmer weather rolls in.
Jewel tones are out in force this spring and summer. Ruby-reds, garnet-burgundy, topaz-yellow and aquamarine-blue are everywhere. However, the biggest jewel-tone trend might be emerald, or forest green. Green is not always the most popular color since it can be hard to wear but this earthy incarnation suits just about everyone. Whether your skin is chocolate, or caramel colored, forest green will look great on you.
Color pop shoes
This trend is an easy one to try. Just swap your black heels or black boots for a brightly colored pair. This is a great transition trend for those who aren’t confident enough to go all the way to a bright blue coat or a bright red shirt. Bright red shoes are a good option to start, but this season there are also purple, green, blue, and even bright yellow shoes to choose from. Add these to an LBD or pair them with your favorite pair of jeans in order to jazz up your regular outfits.
A little bit beachy and a whole lot cool, these are the new spring/summer sandal trend that we are seeing all over Instagram. Simple, neutral, and comfortable, this is a great trend to try if you don’t like too much fuss. Wear them to lunch with your Levi’s, wear them to the beach with shorts, or wear them out with a breezy dress.
Belt bags, or bum bags, are an amazing trend that always keeps getting bigger. Whether you love or hate this look, you can’t deny that they are actually convenient. Particularly if you get sick of carrying around a handbag. Not having to worry about where to put your shoulder bag is a nice break.
